Shipping policy

At Alula Collections, every piece of jewellery is sent with care and a little coastal magic but since many of our pieces are handmade (and our founder is not an octopus 🐙), we ask for a little patience while your order is prepared.

Shipping Methods

We use Royal Mail 48hr Tracked for all UK deliveries:

  • Royal Mail 48hr Tracked (2–4 working days): £2.50
    (Subject to change based on Royal Mail rates)
  • Royal Mail International Tracked (5-7 working days): £15.00 (excluding fees)
  • Shipping rates are fixed and shown at checkout.

Processing Times

  • General orders: Processed and dispatched within up to 5 working days
  • Handmade pieces: Please allow up to 3 working weeks for your piece to be made to order
  • Pre-orders: Can take up to 6 weeks (sometimes longer, we’ll always let you know at time of purchase)

We aim to get your jewellery to you as quickly as possible, but these timelines allow for care, craftsmanship, and keeping quality high.

If you're in a rush or need your item by a specific date, contact us before ordering and we’ll do our best to help.

Delivery Estimates

  • Once your order has been processed and dispatched, estimated shipping timelines are as follows:

    • UK Royal Mail 48hr Tracked with Signature: 2–3 working days

    • UK Royal Mail Next Day Guaranteed: Next working day by 1pm (order by 1pm)

    • Royal Mail International Tracked:
          • Europe: 3–5 working days
          • Rest of World: 5–7 working days

Delivery times are estimates only and can vary depending on your location, Royal Mail, and the time of year.

Pre-Orders

Pre-order items will show an estimated dispatch time at checkout. These pieces may take up to 6 weeks (or longer, depending on materials). We’ll keep you updated via email if there are any changes.

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a Royal Mail tracking number by email so you can follow your jewellery’s journey home.

Packaging

Every piece is securely packaged and arrives in our signature Alula pouch ready for gifting or keeping all to yourself.

International Shipping

We ship internationally, but not currently to EU countries due to GDPR restrictions. If you’re outside the UK, shipping options will appear at checkout.

Customs & Import Fees

We love sending our jewellery around the world, but please be aware that any customs duties, taxes, admin or import fees charged when your order arrives in your country are the responsibility of the customer. These fees are set by your local customs office and are out of our control. This includes shipping to the EU.

We recommend checking with your country’s customs office if you’re unsure about potential charges before placing your order. Thank you so much for your understanding we truly appreciate your support from wherever you are in the world!

Lost or Damaged Items

If your order is lost or damaged during transit, please contact us at info@alulacollections.com with your order details and photos of the damage (if applicable). All damages must be declared within 7 days of receiving the parcel. We will investigate the issue and assist in resolving the matter.

If you experience delays or other delivery issues, please get in touch with us at info@alulacollections.com, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

We understand that at times, situations may be frustrating; however, being unkind or rude will not be tolerated.
